This £1 million project was for the complete renovation and rebuild of the Grade II listed building, Tortworth House in Gloucestershire, following a substantial fire. Prior to the fire it was intended to re-develop the property from residential status into serviced offices. Jenkins & Potter was asked to carry out a full site investigation, detail all structural elements and design the new access road.

Structurally, Tortworth House was stable and work commenced with the gutting of the whole interior of the property, prior to the rebuild. Work on this listed property had to abide to strict conservation legislation and involved close liaison with a conservation officer to ensure that the original integrity of the property was adhered to.
